The BMF club welcomes two new members: Jorge Masvidal and Justin Gaethje! 💪 Gaethje lived up to his “The Highlight” nickname with a stunning second-round head-kick knockout over Dustin Poirier in their rematch. It was a back-and-forth battle between two of the best lightweights in the world, with Poirier landing a solid knee that cut Gaethje’s eye in the first round. But Gaethje came back strong in the next round with an incredible head kick that sealed the deal. 🔥

“I’ve never thrown it once,” Gaethje said of the knockout kick. “I just work my ass off.”

Now, Gaethje has his eyes set on the lightweight title, currently held by Islam Makhachev. Makhachev is gearing up to defend his belt against Charles Oliveira at UFC 294 in Abu Dhabi.

In the co-main event, Alex Pereira made his light heavyweight debut and clinched a hard-fought split decision victory over former champion Jan Blachowicz. Pereira, the former middleweight champion, showed his skills and determination in the new weight class.
