WBC announces new heavyweight rankings including Fury, Joshua, Wilder, and Whyte

The WBC (World Boxing Council) has released new heavyweight rankings for February 2023. The current WBC World Heavyweight Champion is Tyson Fury, followed by Deontay Wilder and Andy Ruiz Jr. Some notable changes include FAA jagba entering the top 15 at number 13 after defeating Frank Sanchez, and Zhang dropping out of the rankings due to his upcoming fight against Joe Joyce for the WBO interim World Heavyweight Championship. Anthony Joshua will face Jermaine Franklin on April 1st, and there are talks of Fury defending his belt against Alexander Usik on April 29th at Wembley Stadium. Dillian Whyte is frustrated that he hasn’t secured an opponent yet, and Martin Bacoli has signed an exclusive deal with Boxer and Sky Sports.
